Biography


A vastly experience goalkeeper who has made seven appearances for the Scottish national team.

Gallacher started his career at Dundee United and, over a seven year period, made 127 appearances for them. He has also played for Norwich City, Dunfermline Athletic and St Mirren.

His only appearance for the Staggies came on the 19th May 2013 in the Highland Derby at the Global Energy Stadium, keeping a clean sheet Ross County won the match 1-0.

Currently plays for Partick Thistle.

International Debut: May 23rd, 2002 v. Hong Kong

Gallacher was called up to the Scotland squad early on in Berti Vogts reign as manager, and made his debut in Hong Kong in May 2002, coming off the bench for the final 15 minutes. He made his first start in a 3-1 win over Canada in October, and by 2003/04 he had become a regular starter for a run of friendly matches. After moving to England to further his career, Gallacher failed to maintain his place in the Scotland set-up.
